How can I merge with my original IMDB account?

Hope someone can help me to re-connect with the 1st IMDB acct. I made & was using to contribute my director dad's documentary filmography (from scratch, I.e. as new listings) Then I took a (longer than I thought) break, & when I returned to IMDB must have used a different email to sign in - though I don't recall having to 'sign up' for a new account. Anyway, the account I've been using, creating lists & reviews etc., is obvsly different from the one I was contributing dad's film-career particulars. Is it possible to regain access to that orig. acct (pref by merging with the acct I'm using now) Of course I can provide names but was told not to on this sprinklr site... ps. TKS in advance!💛✌️

In order to help you with your request, I recommend you to contact our customer service. Please take into consideration that IMDb accounts cannot be merged. However, if you provide the necessary information, our customer service team can help you regain access to the IMDb account to which you no longer have access. Remember to include the following information in your message:

The IMDb account e-mail address you want to recover
The new e-mail address you wish to use to replace the e-mail address of the IMDb account you want to recover
Please make sure the new e-mail address is not already registered with IMDb. If it is, you will need to delete that account to free up that email address so that it can be used to recover your IMDb account

You can use the default filter that I shared above to contact our customer service team.

@Jon Tks V much for your prompt & detailed reply, really appreciate! ONE wee question that I should prob already know: how can I find out what email address I'm currently actively using on IMDB? (You don't hafta respond to that, I'm sure l can figure it out w/ min.effort lol🤞) XO

Hello @VeganSedge,

You will find the e-mail address registered to the IMDb account you are currently using in your Account Settings. Once you are in the Account Settings' page you need to click on Login and security, there you will find your account information.
