Google Knowledge Panel | "About" Section Language Troubles
Dear IMDb community peeps. I've been experiencing a problem with my Google knowledge panel: the language in the About section is oddly in French instead of English. I don't have a clue as to why the biography is in another language. IMDb customer service advise me to change the language preferences on the main IMDb page; however, the preference was, as I checked the selector, set to English. A Google rep then said to chat with IMDb because the problem is outside their control. What is the workaround, guys? Does anybody know how to change the language to English? Any tips would be amazing. Cheers.

IMDb data is basically in English. Any change of the language preferences on the main IMDb page or your IMDb profile can not change the way IMDb information is represented by Google services, including the Google knowledge panel. Google automatically decides the language based on your Google account settings, Google search query, and location (maybe Canada or France in this case).
