First time poster- question about format

Hi, I really, really don't like the new version of imdb.  Instead of the list format that maximized the information on my screen, now I have to scroll incessantly to see the same information, because of all the needless pictures.  I can't be the only one who doesn't like this, but I have no idea how to get things back to the way they were.

I'm trusting that imdb values ALL its users, and would create a way for people to enable their settings depending on whether they want to make the information easy to peruse (like me), or whether they want shiny things (what I'm looking at right now).

If anyone can help me with this, that would be excellent.  If not, I guess I'll have to skulk around the internet until I find a better source for info of this sort that doesn't require me to wear out my mouse wheel scrolling around!
