Feature Request: "Where You've Seen Them Before" — Personalized Cast Recognition

I'd love to see IMDb introduce a feature that helps users recognize actors based on movies and TV shows they've personally watched.

The idea: When viewing a movie's IMDb page, the cast section would automatically identify other productions featuring those actors that I've already marked as Watched.

For example, if I'm looking at Dune: Part Two and I've previously watched Avengers: Infinity War and Spider-Man: No Way Home, IMDb could 've seen him in Avengers: Infinity War.

  • Zendaya — You've seen her in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

  • Ideally, each actor would display their most recognizable matching credits, with an option to expand the list.

Why this would be useful: I frequently recognize an actor's face but struggle to remember where I've seen them before. Currently, I have to open each actor's filmography and manually compare their credits against movies I remember watching.

IMDb already maintains users' watch histories and actors' filmographies. Connecting this information would create a personalized discovery experience, making the existing Watched feature substantially more useful.

This would be especially valuable for people who watch a lot of movies and television, and it would give users another compelling reason to keep their IMDb watch histories updated.
