Discovering different genres of films

Hi IMDB Team,

I experience that IMDB is mosly based om searching for movies. What if you could make IMDB more of a discovery website for people to be inspired to watch movies in different categories such as "Movies based on real life people (underbranch => eg. musicians, sportsmen, etc." (movies such as 'Shine', 'Bird' and perhaps also a movie about Chet Baker I would have liked to searched for - that's why the idea I'm suggesting)

My idea for you has got something to do with "discovery-navigation" in other words on which a new version of IMDB could be based alongside with your already existing search functions.
