Clicking on the link for an actor/actress appearences in different films/TV shows goes to their Personal Information page

This has been going on for a few weeks now.  If I look up an actor and then try to go to one of the episode page for one of the episodes they have been in, all that happens is I get their Personal Information page.  That is not what I am looking for.  I may want to see how many more episodes that this person is in, or to find the exact episode that they are in so I can go to the episode page for that show.  Right now I can't do it, and it is happening no matter what browser I am using.  I would like to think that this is a glitch in the system, but why hasn't it been fixed yet?  I hope this was not done on purpose.

@e8n2  We have not made any changes recently and nobody else is reporting similar problems so this seems like a local problem, sorry.  Please try the advice in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF

If this does not help, please provide more details with examples names, URLs, and ideally screen-grabs to better illustrate the issue.

An example of this working fine, see https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4399227/

clicking on the “10 episodes” for Beef produces:

or you can click the “(i)” icon and then on the “See 10 eps” link on the pop-up.

Hope this helps.

@Col_Needham Using my preferred browser, SeaMonkey, which is also a part of FireFox, I have four examples

With each example, if it is a film then it will take you to that film's page.  If it is a series, it goes to Personal Information.  Also on series, there is NO url shown, but for individual film's the url is seen.  I had also had this problem on Microsoft Edge.  However tonight, using Charly Hübner and Aneeke Kim Sarnau as examples, it will go to the series listing, but a week or two ago it would not.  There have been NO changes on my system with reference to SeaMonkey.  It was last updated in January and until three weeks ago it worked just fine.  There is something more afoot going on.

@e8n2 Sorry, but if you are sure you are clicking the "X episodes" link as shown in our screen-grabs above then this must be a local problem on your system/browser. Nobody else is reporting this so please try the steps in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF

Fact:  Three weeks or so ago, it was working like it is supposed to.  Fact: Now it does not.  Fact: I had the same issue on Microsoft Edge one time.  It is now working like it should on Edge.  Question:  If nothing has changed, then why does it now not work on SeaMonkey?  You have made other changes that have affected SeaMonkey such as no longer being able to add trivia or goofs, or cast additions.  When I go to hit the enter button after entering all the information, nothing ever happens, the change is not posted because IMDB does not allow the information to be posted.  I now have to go to Microsoft Edge in order to post items.  Please explain why the url for the series does not show up when I try to click on it, but it does for individual movies.

@e8n2 Sorry but these are issues with SeaMonkey which you will need to report to the providers of that browser.
