Check-in to whole doesn't check-in each episode.
Hello,
when i check-in to a series on the front page of that series, it doesn't check-in to any of the episodes. These are still marked unseen.
I think by selecting check-in on a running series, it should at least mark all aired episodes as checked-in or give us an option to decide which variant we prefer.
Thanks and kind regards,
Erika
PS. the same extends to the watchlist feature: if you mark the series as a whole for the watchlist, the episodes themselves are untouched.
Here i would like to have the option to mark all future and still unseen episodes/seasons for the watchlist, and exclude all episodes/seasons, which were already marked as checked-in before.

I think this the way it is meant to be: in the IMDb, data model, series head and series episodes are two different kind of objects, and they should be considered and processed separately. E.g. You may give an overall rating to the series, regardless of the rating your gave to each episode. In another use case, I recently watched the 4 seasons of one series, except for one episode of the 1st series, and I would like to retain the information I did not see it.
So to react to your proposal, which sounds more like an idea than a problem to me, I think that whenever you are editing something at the series head level, you should be proposed to apply it to the whole episodes or for specific seasons.
(Sorry, I am not familiar with "check in" and what it means in that context)

Thanks for your feedback regarding the IMDb Watchlist and Check-Ins features.
I've changed this post to an "Idea" type, where it can be reviewed by other IMDb staff and users for consideration for future updates.
Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

I thought I was fairly knowledgeable in English and, to a lesser extent, in IMDb matters, but this word appeared twice yesterday for the first time, and I cannot figure out precisely what it refers to here. (And I know a couple of other meanings, according to different contexts)
Thanks in advance.
