Browse by Total Wins and Nominations on IMDB “Advance Title Search” page
Dear IMDB staff,
I am writing you to provide a suggestion for your “Advance Title Search” page. I am not sure if this is the best place to submit such recommendation, but I got to this page from the official site of IMDB.com.
I know you already have several categories under “Title Group”, with awards won and nominations, but mostly are for the Oscars and Golden Globes. I am wondering if you could also add a slot for “total wins” and “total nominations” for a film.
For example, I recently came across a great movie which seemed to have passed unnoticed, but on its page I found it already had a combined total of 17 wins & 10 nominations in multiple countries.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6788942/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
I am wondering if there are any great movies like that one, under the radar, which have received quite a lot of wins and nominations in several festivals, but which are not so popular and mainstream. If your Advance Title Search had an option for searching films by total wins & nominations it would be great to find hidden gems. Like allowing the user to input the number of wins and number of nominations in a bracket, regardless of the festival. Example: browse films with more than 5 wins and 10 nominations on your site.
Just an idea, since there are many film
lovers on your site, trying to find great movies.
Cheers

That's true! also the yellow strip that shows nominations could be higher up so if no one has rated a film which has won at several festivals atleast you can appreciate it from another aspect
