boxoffice

Hello, In boxofficemojo, in case older movies, during the '70s and '80s, example 'Star Wars Episode IV' , the performance -> by release -> worldwide data is not correct, because it is the same, that the domestic data. I checked more movies and I found a same, is it a mistake?

Hi @Haksi  Please know that the worldwide results display all data Box Office Mojo has received. For titles such as your example, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), the international (rest of world) breakdown by release is not available, hence displayed is the data from the domestic market.

Dear Taylor, thank you your answer. I understand that. But now we see the following on boxofficemojo, for examle Star wars, in 1977 domestic box office: 307 million usd, international: nothing, worldwide: 307 million usd. And this info is not correct, because the worldwide data should be about 500 million usd. If the international data is not avalaible, in this case in my opinion it would be better if the worldwide data shows: NA. But this is only my opinion.
