Born today.

Yes, all their ages are incorrect. Today for example:

Will Ferrell  born July 16 1967 below his photo you quote he is 58.

Rosa Salazar born July 16 1985  you quote 40.

Cooper Koch  born July 1996 you quote 29.

And so it continues, somebody cannot do basic arithmetic.

Unfortunately this is an ongoing issue happening everyday for a long time. Yet again today ALL the ages of the celebrities are incorrect under reading by one year.  Perhaps a thorough investigation of all future publications is warranted.

@freeo​ In which country or timezone are you located? It is possible there is a timezone issue here with respect to where you are located vs. the location of the IMDb servers, however, by later in your day everything should be fine. 

The discrepancy is with the age being incorrect by one year so any timezone question is irrelevent. Unless tomorrow's (and in the future) ages are checked this problem will continue to occur.

@freeo​  Unfortunately without further details on your time zone, this must be a local problem on your system, sorry.  The "Born Today" widget is supposed to be time zone aware and there have been no other customer reports of any problems with it.  Please follow the advice in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF to see if anything helps; in your case we also recommend looking at the system clock and your time zone settings as this may explain any discrepancies, especially if they persist across your day.  Also check any VPN settings as those may be placing your system in another region and confusing things. 

Right now at the time of posting in my time zone (British Summer Time) it is approaching 7am on Friday 17 July, so I see this on the home page, all with the correct ages:

If I change my time zone to Pacific Daylight Time where it is approaching 11pm on Thursday 16 July, then I see this on the home page, again with the correct ages:

The error continues with their incorrect ages displayed beneath their photo. Today for example (July 18) James Norton is 40 according to you. In his full bio it states he was born in 1985, ergo he is 41 today. Vin Diesel is 58 according to you, but in his bio it says he was born in 1967 so he would be 59 today, and so it goes. The ages of ALL the celebrities beneath their photos are incorrect and need adjusting. Time zones are irrelevant, it is 2026 in your part of the world and 2026 in my part of the world.

@freeo​ As stated above, this is a local problem which only appears to be affecting you, sorry.  Please try the troubleshooting steps in our previous response and report back confirming (a) Your timezone (b) which browsers and systems you have tried (c) confirm you are not using a VPN configured for a different timezone than your answer in (a).  Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate, but without it the problem will persist on your system each day. 

The "Born Today" feature is generated by software which reads your time zone, it is not a hand curated list so nobody is making a mistake with any calculations here.
