Back button in image gallery thumbnail index no longer returns to title page.
When I browse the website in a desktop browser, I can no longer jump back to the title screen from the image gallery. On a title page, the "images" link takes me to a thumbnail index page. Once I click on an image, I enter the images overlay where I can browse through the list of images. When I'm done, I can click the "close' button to clear the overlay and reurn to the thumbnail index. Near the top left of that page is a "Back" button. Up until a few weeks ago, that button would return me to the title page. However, it now just functions like a standard back command to the browser, not a link to a particular page, so it just takes me back to the last image I viewed before hitting "close." If I've just browsed through, 10, 20, or 100 images I'm going to have to hit "back' that many times to get where I want to go. The only easy way to get there is to go back to the overlay where I can find a link to the title. I am describing operations and functions I have used thousands of time. Am I missing something? Was this change intentional? If it is, it removes a useful feature and replaces it with an unnecessary one as I already have several ways to go back to the last page I viewed in a web browser.
