ATS: Searching by ALL release dates

Currently when you search for a specific release date, the films that come up are only indexed by the VERY FIRST release date listed on their release page, but almost always films will have more than one release date (premiere date, limited, general, re-release, and the like). 

There doesn't seem to be a way to search a date and have it show all the films that had ANY of their release dates on that day, rather than just their first 'premiere' date.

Is there any way of doing this or adding this functionality? Thanks
