Amazon account suspended

I signed up for Amazon just to access IMDB, but as soon as I signed up, I received an email saying my Amazon account is suspended "because the information available to us indicates that you may have provided inaccurate information to Amazon", which was quite confusing because I don't use Amazon at all.

Can you please tell me what to do? (My Amazon username is the same email address I use for this Sprinklr community). Thanks.

Yeah, that happened to me too. They said I'm obviously not here for shopping and closed the account.

Apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Please contact IMDb support directly here.

Select: IMDbPro member and in the drop down menus select "Sign up Via IMDbPro" and "I can't sign up or log in to IMDbPro". This should make the E-mail button available to select.

But I don't want to sign up for IMDb Pro, just IMDb. Can you please confirm that it's still okay to send the email as you said?

Thanks, Ozzy. I sent an email as you suggested, but your colleague Tom wrote that he sees my Amazon account in hold (which I already knew) and that I should write to them (who have already told me they can't change my position). I give up, you've become too complicated, bye!

@imdb2026 Yes this is a catch 22. Amazon close the account and that's it, you also lose your IMDb account. They did that to me as well and probably lots of others. And like you I can't be bothered with all that.
