You are correct that you can't do this on keyword searches. However, you can do this on title searches.
For example, if you want to find all titles that include the keyword "great-britain" while excluding titles that are in the Comedy genre and titles that have the keyword "london-england," here is that search:
@keyword_expert Yeah, that is nice but it'd be great if it was built into the keyword filter system. Especially as they talk a bit about making it more user friendly.

The trick is to add an exclamation point before any data point that you want to exclude.
