Advanced Title Search for Connections (title data)

I'm trying to search for sequels, which "follow" a prequel (in their title data for Connections).  Why doesn't https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?title_type=tv_special&has=movieconnections find titles with Connections?  Thanks.

I suppose since your search has the same number of results with or without your parameter "&has=movieconnections", you're correct in assuming that parameter does not work. How did you decide on that syntax? I don't see Connections as one of the choices in Advanced Title Search. And parameters often don't cross over between IMDb searches (assuming you found it somewhere else).

Connections come in various types:

If the parameter worked, I'd assume that your query would find all TV Specials with ANY type of Connection.

Since the URL of a title with Connections is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2527338/movieconnections, I manually edited the title data's parameter in an URL produced by Advanced Title Search.  But "movieconnections" isn't recognized in that parameter.

Hi rootsmusic,
I can confirm that movie connections is not currently available in the advanced search. However as a workaround for searching for Prequel titles, you're welcome to search using the "prequel" keyword.

Thanks Taylor.  I've tried the workaround, but the Connections page is more complete than manually-inputted keywords.  So I'm suggesting the idea at https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/auto-tagging-keywords-when-editing-title-data
