Ads with suggestive pictures

Can you remove the ads with suggestive pictures repetitively showing up in specific movie details? I.E. you are looking up details on a movie and interspaced in the listing is this stripe of suggestive pictures, small and difficult to see but from a glance look like other things on purpose (i.e. boobs, big butts, thongs, and someone’s crotch). Some of the pictures are not these things if you look long enough, but given the neighboring pictures, I don’t think its an accident they look such a way at a glance. This strip repeats on the listing so one has multiple opportunites to accidentally hit it. If I wanted porn, I’d go to a porn site. I don’t want to accidentally open these and they are a not fun distraction. Since you recently had ads opening often in error on movie detail lookups (I think triggered by hover, which was easy to do if scrolling to nav the ap), I’m concerned I’ll open something I don’t want by accident. If you must have ads, can you find better ads that maybe are a little classier and less risky for xxx data and computer viruses?

@B88_92_02 Thanks for the feedback.  IMDb does not run ads like the ones you describe and they are against our ad policies.  We will mark this thread as Private so that only you and the IMDb staff can view it.  Please can you attach screen-grabs of at least two instances of this issue, along with the URLs of these pages.  Please also let us know in which country you are located.

One possible explanation is that your system has been infected with malware which is injecting these ads onto your version of IMDb.  Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF — please try a different browser and/or a private browsing session in your regular browser to see if these ads remain.
