Adding a Private Review on IMDb

Hello there,

Does IMDb have a feature where I can add a personal review of a movie but not have it visible to other people? I'm asking because I would like to use IMDb as a personal movie diary.

Thank you in advance!

@Veeral  Yes, you can do this via the IMDb Lists feature.  The Lists FAQ is located at https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/lists-faq/GNQMN47VZSE7KW38

You could create a private list called, say, “My Reviews” and then add your reviews as notes on the list entries. On the website in edit mode there’s a notes field under each entry in a list.

For example, I just created a starter list:

(and see the “Add a note” area).

Your reviews will be displayed when you view the list, and if you create it as private, only you will be able to see them.

The same functionality is available on the IMDb iOS app if you have an iPhone or iPad and there’s a slightly smoother experience since you can edit the notes without needing to put the whole list into edit mode.

Hope this helps.
