Add search option for level of movie production

Hi, I think the form on the "Advanced search" page can be enhanced by search options for the production level of a movie. The search result page shows those informations like "Post-production", "Completed" , "Filming" and "Announced". A filter for that would be highly appreciated, e.g. to look up for announced movies. Kind regards.

I do believe such a feature already exists on IMDbPro. Is there a good reason to extend it to people who aren't paying customers? Maybe frequent contributors, even the ones who don't ordinarily make the Top 250/300 leaderboard might be interested. I don't recall being bothered by not being able to search by the production status criterion. O, but now I'm curious about acquiring a list of titles that have been stuck in development hell for a long time. Unfortunately, that would require the search feature to account for the timestamps of IMDb's awareness of production statuses.

@jeorj_euler I'm not an IMDB Pro user, but a movie fan who likes to get track on future movies, especially by particular directors, or with my favourite actors etc.

My utilization of the particular field/parameter must have been so infrequent, on top of infrequent use of the advanced title search overall, that I didn't even notice when it was removed. Yet I had necessarily mentioned it, as a matter of outlining everything public known about the spec.

That feature existed in Advanced search until 3 or 4 years ago and then it was suddenly removed.

@plur62 Interesting! Do you know the reasons for the removal? And can that feature be implemented again? That would be great.

I thought so, but it was such a vague memory for me.
