Swipe recognition for "back" could be improved by recognizing the swipe only from the screen's edge

As it stands now, when scrolling horizontally in any element (example shown below), very often the app would recognize the scroll as a "go back to previous" gesture.

(This also affects the vertical scrolling due to the slight angle of the left thumb's motion.)

This I think could be improved by implementing the usual method used by most apps, which is to recognize this gesture only when swiping from the phone edge's-inside (green arrow below depicts that), and not have a big detection zone where one could be simply scrolling horizontally/vertically.

As usual, many thanks!

- iPhone XR (iOS 17.6.1)
- IMDb version 14.15
- tried a phone restart
- tried app reinstall
