In Progress

Sorting Keyword Lists

I am using the iMDB app on an iOS device.

When I click on a keyword on a movie page it takes me to a list of other movies that share that keyword tag. The list defaults to sorting the titles by "popularity." When I try to sort the list by year, the list turns into every single movie in iMDB's database and it does not sort the results of movies with the common keyword.

This only happens on the app.

I have reached out to iMDB about this issue and was told they are aware of it but do not have a fix at the moment. They suggested posting here and if there is enough response they may look into it further.

Thank you for your time!

@Jon

device model: MG7M4LL/A3256

ios version: 26.6

app version: 16.10.1

having trouble uploading a video or more than one screenshot which would be required to establish the issue.

Let me know if that’s needed and I can upload individual screenshots (there are four).

Hello @MissonFromLucy,

Thank you for your reply. Please upload the file directly to a file-sharing source, such as Dropbox, then write back with a link to the file so we can investigate further. If you choose to use Dropbox, you can follow this process to generate a link to the file that we can use to download:

1. Start in "My files

2. Hover over the file and click "Share"

3. In the smaller window that opens, click "Copy link" in the bottom right corner

4. Paste the generated link into your reply to us

Thanks in advance! We look forward to your reply.
