“Review found helpful” button

When I select the thumbs up or down on the “found this review helpful”, it says either “you found this helpful” or “you found this not helpful” which is good. BUT when I close out and come back to the same page, my thumbs up or down was never clicked and will not say “you found this helpful” or “you found this not helpful” anymore. Clicking the thumbs up or down has become a completely useless mechanic for me since it does not stay selected and it does not add a number to the helpfulness or unhelpfulness review. Is this a bug?
