Please make app backwards compatible with iPadOS 16!!!!

Why can't you allow us to download an earlier version of the app that still functions on iPadOS 16? It appears you have blocked this in the App Store! I hate the layout of the browser version of IMDB: it's a total mess! The photos of the actors are too small: so I can't see them properly, and you have advertisements all over the place, blocking my view! I want to use the app instead; but no longer can! Please make it backwards compatible with older devices. Otherwise I will have to resort to using apps from your competitors.

Agreed. Worked great on iOS 16.7.11 with my iPhone X but took the update to 16.7.12 since I thought it would improve glitches on other apps and it was a security recommendation too- but now the IMDb app is incompatible. It’s not like we can just update to iOS 17, since older phones can’t take iOS 17.

@AnythingWorks4me The app requirements are explained in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/mobile-web-apps/imdb-app-general-troubleshooting/GPV9HCYQGA8XT8QZ Fortunately the IMDb site at http://www.imdb.com/ is now fully responsive, which means all pages work on any size of device, and will therefore continue to work on your iPad just fine. The site actually has more functionality and content than the app these days in any case. You can even create a link to the site on your home (or other) screen which will provide a shortcut to the IMDb site just as if it was an app. For help on this, please see https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iphea86e5236/ios
