Netflix watchlist notification

Hey thanks for starters I'm talking about the now streaming notifications not the new episode ones. Although while on that subject I know you guys recently integrated Disney but didn't get any notifications for new Andor episodes. But like "wet hot American summer" for example I know just dropped on Netflix yesterday and I see it on my watchlist as being streaming on Netflix but I didn't get a notification. Same with blade runner a couple months ago. In addition I noticed "the producers" on peacock maybe a month ago same thing. And I'm located in the US

iPhone SE 3. I actually intentionally didn't update it a couple updates ago because I saw that you guys decreased the size of the watchlist movie covers on the grid view for some reason and it looks much better the size you used to have them. But on another phone I have the fully updated IMDb version and it's the same case no Netflix now streaming notifications. On my current phone the I get notifications for every single other streamer but that and Disney so I think the version should be irrelevant here but its 15.6.

see I like this app so much that I'm scared of it auto updating and ruining what's already perfect so I have another phone where I can just see what each new update looks like before I update. didn't like the look of that one so didn't update. Also did those troubleshooting steps already everything's on.

Also, please attach any missing information. Also, could check the App display region and language (settings, display)?

Region is US and app version is 15.6 according to storage in settings

I already told you above Netflix and the ones I noticed it for were blade runner and wet hot American summer. and then once for the producers on peacock I believe. Idk how to send a screenshot to you I can't in this thread at least

hey guys never got an answer to this question: "do the now LEAVING streaming notifications also work for TV shows or is it just movies ? and the now streaming tv notifs too I guess. Like for example if I have an old show like the office on my list that's already aired would I still get notifications if it left streaming or came onto streaming somewhere else ?"

Hello @foneill, Thank you for your patience! Please take into consideration that the entering and leaving streaming notifications are for a TV Series. E.g. If The Office is entering or leaving streaming, you will be notified.

alright well as a test I added literally everything that's coming and leaving Netflix on Sept 1st this month so will report back to see what works/doesn't work. and one of them is an old show coming and one is an old show leaving so should be a good guinea pig.

You guys had the app perfect and I've been holding out on updating for the longest time because I saw on a different phone that you screwed up the watchlist look. But then I was forced to update today and why on earth are the dvd covers so much smaller in grid view ?? who ok'd this what is better about this ? and how do I get back to the old version this looks so stupid.

all this does is cuts off more of the title and adds more random white space in between for what ?? Why why why

alright so it's not only the watchlist you also made the dvd covers harder to see on their main pages as well ?? All that does is make it harder to avoid unchecking something when you're scrolling down watchlist bc the covers are so small. And on another note. I noticed at least 3 things I had on my watchlist (se7en, pirate radio and freaky tales) came onto HBO sept 1 and I never got notified. That one's not a complaint as much just letting you know the problem isn't just with Netflix.

Reverting to a previous app version is not possible as we are removing support for older versions of the app for quality and security reasons. The IMDb app is consistently being updated and improved, and we welcome all comments and suggestions aimed at improving its features, flexibility and ease of use.

Could you maybe explain the reason they made them smaller tho if you know it ? like I don't understand how in any way that makes things better

Keeping the ongoing list of titles/streamers that don't work for your records. Life Aquatic with Steve Sizzou was on Hulu and I didn't get notified it was leaving streaming today. And Argo on my list also didn't get notified that was on streaming today

Oh and Friday night lights. didn't get a notif that one was on peacock

Another bad thing about making the watchlist covers smaller for no reason on grid is that it makes it way easier to accidentally uncheck something as you're scrolling and then that title is just gone forever you don't even know what you u checked. Is it possible they just make it back to the way it was ?

Ok update of the month all 3 movies that I randomly added to the watchlist from hbo Hulu and Netflix all didn't get notified for. Happy feet, the hangover, and eragon.

Of all the titles you have mentioned in your reports, our technical team has only found the title “Friday Night Lights” already added in your watchlist. Please let us know if you are still having the same situation.

I am still having the same situation. I added some of them a few days before would that make a difference ? I know for a fact all of them were added before the day they became available on streaming because there's a blog that posts like everything coming to streaming each month and what date they are
