Can I mark episodes watched so I can keep track of shows on IMDB like I do Trakt?

I use Trakt to keep up with shows I am following, want to watch, etc. on that app I can mark an episode watched.

I don’t see an option to do that on IMDB, but it seems they have gotten a lot of features updated similarly. Just don’t know if there was a way that I’m missing. Like if I watched season 1 of a new show, but it is already renewed for season 2, I want to indicate I have seen the first season/don’t need notifications for those episodes. But I want to keep notifications for upcoming episodes. As of now it seems all of it is on the watchlist or not.

@maddharliquinn On IMDb you primarily record a viewing by voting for the title on our 1-10 scale.   You can use the check-in feature to record a viewing without providing a specific rating.

For more information on check-ins, please see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/check-ins-faq/GG59ELYW45FMC7J3 and to check-in to a title on the iOS app, use the “three dots” menu in the upper right of every title page.

Note that we only provide notifications for new episodes, so if a series is on your watchlist and season 2 is already airing, you should not receive notifications for repeats of season 1 episodes anyway.

Hope this helps.
