Are there any plans to add Picture in Picture functionality to videos in the iOS app

Should be pretty easy add since it’s built into iOS framework. Most apps accommodate this

We currently don't have this functionality in our iOS app. In the meantime, I have converted this post to an Idea thread so other community members can vote on this App feature request and IMDb staff can track interest.

@Michelle does this mean unless it gets enough upvotes it’s unlikely to be seen.

was ultimately hoping for a ticket, if the devs depriotize it so be it but im concerned if it’s simply just a post on a forum they may never see it at all

The fact that literally almost all apps support this for their video expirences due to it being bundled with how OS works, I question if every idea needs 100s/1000s of upvotes just to potentially get escalated
