app keeps crashing after clicking on a movie’s page

for the past couple of weeks my app keeps crashing almost immediately after opening. it usually happens once i click on a movie from the home page, or if i search for a movie. once i click on a movie’s page, and then leave that page by either backing out or clicking on another movie’s page from that original page, the app will just act as if it’s having trouble loading by giving me a blank screen, only for the app to crash every time about 10 seconds later. if i back out of a page and try to search for another movie, i will get no search results. it will just act as if it’s searching and trying to load results, and then crash about 10 seconds later. 

anyone have any idea as to what’s going on? i wrote to imdb via the feedback section, but heard nothing back. 

i am running the most updated version of the app, and have even deleted the app and redownloaded it and still have this issue. i cleared my history and search results as well. logged out and logged back in. nothing has stopped it from slowly crashing every time. i can only view a single movie’s page once per crash and thats it. 

if i click on the + sign on a movie on the home page to add to my watchlist, when my app crashes and i reopen it, the checkmark doesn’t show up initially. i then have to goto the movies page to see if it actually registered my adding of it to my watchlist, but that then counts as my one movie page visited and then the app crashes again if i try to do anything else in the app. 

this has been incredibly frustrating. i don’t know what else to do. if anyone could help me i’d greatly appreciate it!
