If I remove a movie from my queue my list resets back to the beginning and I have to scroll through all the movies again to get back to where I was on the list.

In this case I recommend you to uninstall and re-install the App.

If you are still having the same issues, please provide us with the following information:

Device model
OS version number
IMDb App version number
Screenshots

Ok. But, it didn't start doing it until recently. For years I have been able to delete a movie from my list and it didn't go back to the beginning. So, it must have been a recent update that caused it.

Not sure why it would be changed. It's really inconvenient to have to scroll through my list of hundreds of movies each time I edit it.

Just circling back here, our tech team reviewed further and confirmed that the behavior you observed is caused by a bug that is on our radar and we are planning to include the fixes in our next app release (going live around the end of April).

My watchlist stopped restarting for a short time. However, now it is doing it again. Are new updates causing this? It's very inconvenient.

If I rate, click on or delete a movie from my list, it restarts my list to the beginning and I have to scroll through the whole.list to get back to where I was in list.

Hi @Jsdarden Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce your issue. When I rate or remove a title from my watchlist, it keeps me at the same location and does not restart me to the top of the list. What you describe is not the expected experience. Is this always occurring or just sometimes? If you can provide additional detail on how to reproduce, that would be helpful. Thanks

IMDB works fine on my computer. The problem is on my phone. First it was happening on my Motorola android. I now have a Samsung S24 and it still does it.

I've been using IMDB for years and it didn't use to do this.

After uninstalling IMDB and reinstalling the app it still is having the same problem.

Here's is the information you requested:

Samsung S24

Android version 14

IMDB version 9.0.6.109060200

The problem is if I click on a movie in my watchlist then go back to my list it restarts back to the beginning of the list. I don't think the screenshot will show anything.

I am having this same issue, but it's throughout the whole main page of the app. If I go into my watchlist and back, it takes me to a whole different position (celeb birthdays). If I remove from watchlist, it takes me all the way back up to the top. Pretty much everywhere in the app, you lose page or list position when you make an action. Uninstalling, clearing app data or cache does nothing to fix it.

Pixel 8 Pro, same version as above user.

I can't get a video less than 10mb, they're too big.

Scroll down and go into the watchlist, go back, and it jumps to the celeb birthday.
