Improve theme options

I like the dark theme, but should add the choice of white or black, as in other applications subject

Hi Pato Robalino,

Thanks for taking the time to post this, I think this is a very interesting idea and I have changed this thread type to idea for future consideration by our teams.

Best,

I liked the light theme better. In dark theme it's very hard to read something under sunlight. It's in night mode 24/7. I wish there was an option to choose such thing since IMDb is an app where you read long hours on.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Black theme is awfull... plz give us the White theme back or at least give us an ....

Everyone thinking black theme is great but it made the app look way uglier and "cheaper" than it was with the White theme. Plz give us the option to chose between the 2

Please enable a night mode feature for easier reading. You have it for the iOS version, why not Android? Unless of course you do not like Android users as much??!!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled To: IMDb..... Site Suggestion:.

It would be good for those with sensitive eyes/sight if this site had a "day-to-night" mode.  You could also make an option for people who might prefer the "night" setting on a 24 hour basis.

It would be nice to see the light and dark theme change automatically based on the current time of day.

Please add back a LIGHT theme to the website viewing.
I have trouble reading any page of white letters on black background, and if the text is long, my eyes get watery and the text sort of 'squiggles' by the time I am finished reading it.
This seems to affect mostly the more recent, newer films and/or more popular films information display, where IMDB has decided that 'dark theme' is somehow cool or 'fresh' or whatever.
But for me, its just plain hurtful to try to read on dark-themed pages.

Thank goodness that most of the site is in traditional dark text on light background.
Please provide an option so that I am able to more comfortably read the info on new releases in light theme (dark text on light background).
Thank you.
