Can you please help clarify what you are referring to as the "Connections" page on the Android App? Are you referring to the "Network" tab on the IMDbPro app?
Sorry about that. While we are always adding new data and features to the IMDb apps and mobile site, not everything is supported on all platforms at the present time.
We will convert this over to the "Idea" section such that other users can vote / comment upon it for future consideration.
I can't find anywhere under movie "Did you know ? Connections" category which is in dekstop but not in imdb app on android. Is it never been and never will be ?
There are two main features that I feel are missing from Android app , which are available on IOS app. 1. The "Follows" or "Followed By" at the bottom of pages that used to show if the movies had parts, e.g Ghostbusters movie page shows 'followed by Ghostbusters 2' on Iphone app but this Very Useful feature is missing from Android app.2.The "Box Office" portion on movie pages that shows Movie 'Budget' and 'Opening Weekend' and 'Gross' amounts on IOS app is completely dropped from the Android app. I really Miss these two features ever since my move from Iphone 4s to Samsung Galaxy S5.Please let me know if these features are in works for the Android app.Thank you and Great Work.
Thanks for the feedback. We have moved this into the "idea" category. Our aim is to make the same features and content available in both apps, however, the iOS app is further developed than the Android app the moment.
It seems like your developers don't know how to program very well for Android. The ios app has so many more features and continues to get more features while most android app updates only fix bugs because of constant crashes. I think there is a fatal design flaw in the Android app. Maybe you should start from scratch because the way things are your app is almost useless for android. I keep seeing the same issues on the message boards. Problems signing in, watchlists, video crashes, favorites, and so on. While you claim that some of the bugs have beens fixed thr same bugs seem to pop back up months later. The truth is these problems have existed for years and none of them ever truley get fixed. Let alone adding all of the missing features that the ios app has had for years. Please hire some better programmers. I know Android app design and maitainance can be difficult because of so many different hardware versions but to many android users it is clear that you either don't care about, or don't know how to improve your app for android. I hope this changes soon or I will no longer use your service on any os.
In the "did you know?" category there's no sub category for movie connections like there is on the web page. There really should be, there's no reason why there isn't.
I don't have the "connection with other film" tab on movies pages. Do you know why I don't have it? I think it's suppose to be under "similar content".
I don't know. I saw on a friend's app that when he clicked on a film, in the categories below, there is "more like this" and just below there is a link where when he clicks On it, there are all the cinematographic references present in the film. It's this link that I can't find in my app.
Thanks for the additional information. Based on your description it sounds like you were viewing the "More Like This" section on your friend's app, which includes "Connections":
Unfortunately, the reason you are not seeing this section is because it is not available on our Android app, it is only supported on the iOS app currently.

Thanks for clarifying!
You were correct in noticing the Connections link is not included in the Android app.
Cheers,
Steve
