what was the movie title?

I saw only the last scenes of this movie several years ago. There is a man (possibly blond hair) standing or knocking a door of a house and then a black woman opens the door and seems the man is asking her about the history or past events of some house and she tells him that in that house a child killed his mother in the bathroom. Then comes the last scene of the movie where the man is walking in a barn and suddenly there is a partially visible hand carrying a hammer and quickly approaching the man from behind and the movie ends this scene.
