Watchoptions

How come the watchoptions button is not listed on everything?  Shouldn't it be?  Is Netflix is hardly mentiotioned but Prime always.  Is IMDB partnered with Prime and not Netflix.   Would love to understand this because I think it really affects recommended

Not everything that is documented at a distinct IMDb title page on the website is available for watching everywhere. In fact, a vast majority of the movies and shows have never even been available for rental or purchase on Amazon's streaming service. Even fewer of them are consistently available for watching through Netflix's streaming service. Amazon is the parent company of IMDb, but that doesn't mean IMDb has no relationship with at all with Netflix, since some of their application programming interfaces do indeed interface in a most compatible manner. There does appear to be a prioritization scheme for the watch options. Whenever something is available on Freevee, thus far, it always takes the top spot. Second comes those works that are available to watch at no additional change and without ads, for Prime subscribers. Somewhere in the bottom of the top, Netflix, Hulu, Apple and MUBI come. Somewhere in the top of the bottom, Tubi, Plex, Pluto and Crackle come. Second to last comes works that are only known to be available to through rental or purchase on Amazon's streaming service, and last comes works that are only known to be available in the form of Blu-ray/DVD and are being sold through the Amazon storefront of the world-wide Web. There is no tracking of the various other avenues, like alternative storefronts. Availability through another of other streaming providers (Netflix not among those others), e.g. YouTube Movies, are also not tracked.
