Trying to find a film

US movie, maybe tv movie from 30 odd years ago. Younger guy meets older woman, they start relationship. All is fine, even when woman's daughter turns up. They eventually part when she goes to study art in Europe. Definitely an 'aaahh' Kind of movie.
