SOLVED: Looking for Action Gun film (Man on Chain / Russian roulette)

Hi, I’m desperately trying to find an action film or perhaps TV show that seemed to have a gun theme.

I saw this in early summer 1999 and it looked like this was an early 1980s film.

I really only remember the end. But I remember one snippet midway through. This guy got shot in the bare hairy chest on his bed, but he was OK. I think he had this big gold chained necklace and the bullet hit that, which is why he was Ok.

it was the end that I remember rather well. The good guy was in the bad guys place and winning very well even though the lead bad guy was confident. The lead bad guy then brought this huge behemoth bad guy out on a very thick chain because he was such a violent beast. While the good guy fought him the camera kept showing the lead bad guy’s and this other bad guy’s face. The lead bad guy was enjoying this, while the other bad guy kept looking worried (which he had all film and really didn’t say much). Eventually the good guy got the huge chained guy in a neck hold and applied massive pressure for a few long scary moments until his neck was heard snapping!!!!!!

I can’t remember what happened to the one bad guy, but the good guy and lead bad guy then had a face off. The lead bad guy made the good guy pay Russian Roulette with the good guy, and explained how it worked (because the good guy never heard of such). The bad guy would point the gun at the good guy and pull the trigger and if no bullet came out he’d then point the gun at himself and pull the trigger, and if no bullet came out, he’d point the gun at the good guy and pull the trigger, and like wise…..

So this is how it actually went…..

the bad guy pointed the gun at the good guy and pulled the trigger, and no bullet came out. So then the bad guy pointed the gun at his own temple and pulled the trigger. No bullet came out. The bad guy then pointed the gun at the good guy and pulled the trigger and again no bullet came out.

the good guy was commenting on luck holding out or up, or something to that effect. 

the good guy then shut his eyes as the bad pointed the gun at his own head and pulled the trigger, this time blasting himself. When the good guy opened his eyes he saw that the bad guy was dead. He then ran out of the building.

at the very end of the film they showed this guy in the hospital all bandaged up with white bandages (but it wasn’t a cast, it was just white cotton bandages).

i used the IMDb keywords search and took a long shot on this one, when I saw it was rated PG back then. Dang this is a bit much for a PG film. I know they didn’t have PG-13 back then….and even so, I’d think this would’ve been an R rated film.
