Short (Canadian?) film likely from between 2016 - 2020, length 10-20mins.

This short-film had three actors in it.  Two adult males and one adolescent female.  The storyline was as follows:  A man breaks into a home, and upon finding the homeowner at home, the thief subdues the man and ties him to a radiator.  The thief continues to snoop for valuables, and finds a hidden door behind a bookshelf.  The door leads into the basement, where he finds a number of wooden cages.  In one of them is an adolescent girl, whom he frees.  Meanwhile, the homeowner fress himself, and once the thief gets back upstairs, they enter into a struggle.  The homeowner begins to get the upper hand, fatally wounding the thief, but then the girl shoots the homeowner/captor.

I suspect this to be a Canadian film, but that is uncertain.
