Please help me find a 1980s American movie.

The only major parts I remember are: There is a scene in the movie, a man named Martin is called by the antagonis, he is followed by the protagonist. The protagonist, after taking the picture, leaves, but is discovered by Martin. Martin was later shot dead by the guy who called him over.
