Name of a movie (from probably released between the 60s and 80s) where an old woman (outside) shoots a black man through his car window?

I remember seeing a clip on a VH1 Flix where they were highlighting scary or suspenseful movies and there was this clip where an old woman walks up to a black man sitting in a rear passenger seat of a car with the window closed. The old lady, who I think was seeking revenge for something, said something to the man before taking out a gun and firing it through the window and shooting him in the temple.  She was immediately apprehended by a crowd. I don't remember if the old lady was white or black. 

Does anyone know the name of this movie (which was in technicolor)? Thank you very much.
