Movie with a semi intense interrogation scene
I believe it's like a gangster crime thriller, can't recall the exact genre, but the woman is being interrogated for something and to get her to talk I think they bring either electrodes and/or car battery and I can't remember if they attach to her feet to shock or if her feet are in water and they're using that to shock her (still can't recall if it's a movie or a show but the whole thing is on the tip of my tongue I know this isn't the most specific description.)

How recent was it? I remember watching a black and white film where a brunette woman was in a small room being shocked, but I can't remember the title (a spy movie maybe?). Does that sound like the scene in question?

I remember one other film where a woman was tortured with electric shock: Cat's Eye from 1985. James Woods' wife is tortured because he smoked a cigarette.
I still can't remember the black and white spy movie where the woman is in the booth being shocked (maybe one of the Dr. Mabuse movies?).
