Looking for the title of a heist movie.
A man goes to a lady's house. She can't be seen. He invests in her and falls in love. When the deal is supposed to happen, she is gone. In the end, he searches for her and finds her but decides not to do anything

The movie is American, in English, in color, probably no more than 10 years old.
A man, who is a specialist at authenticating things (I don't remember what it was), is called to do a job for a lady. He goes to her house several times but can never see her. He is told that she is a medical condition.
Things evolve and he falls in love with her. I don't remember if he ends up seeing her behind a glass wall, or something like that. Nothing direct...
Then comes a time when he is going to put money on the "deal", and when he does, she disappears with the money.
At the very end, he manages to find her, somewhere exotic, I believe. He could act but decides not to, because of his love for her.
That's how I remember the movie. The main actor is NOT Steve Martin, but somehow, it reminds me of him.
