Looking for the movie's and series' titles

For years I am frustratingly remembering a movie plot and cannot remember anything connected to its title. This is something that I should have watched before 2000 year so my guess is that the movie is between 1980-2000.  Details that I remember from the plot: Movie starts with rich people flying with helicopter in a desert region. There is baby boy on board and its father is the one calling the shots. They were in some sacred for locals place that is apparently mine for very expensive material - think they called it something like 'black gold' but pretty sure we are not talking about oil reserve.  So helicopter crashes in that sacred land and only baby survives. He is adopted by the desert royal family and movie cuts 20 something years later. Boy is handsome young man and is loved by his adopted parents and his sister (this one is actually the love interest). Idk if he knew at this point that he is adopted but probably? For some reason he decided to travel to the united states - ether to look for his origins or for something connected to the 'black gold' mine?  Anyway he finds his bio mum and there is some action - think uncle wants to kill him and bio mum. There was a plump sidekick character that I remember near the end of the movie got from somewhere suitcase full of money?  Ending was standard - bad guys lose,  bio dad is revenged, MC gets together with adopted sister and happy ever after. Even with all of these details I cannot find any clue on the movie so hope that for someone it rings a bell. ------------------------- 2nd is a series that again I have watched quite long ago: It was something like Black Mirror but early 2000. Remember that it was solid sci-fi stories and one of the episodes stuck out cause of the moral paradox it created - episode starts with guy chilling in the park and out of no where a crazy looking woman shows up. He asks who she is but she just pulls a gun and kills him. Scene last for a minute and we cut to police station - a black haired female officer(MC) is discussing some weird case - a fingerprint of a female that has not even been born at the time of crime has found a match in the database concerning a homicide from 20-30 years ago. We also find that MC's best friend was killed  some time ago.  The fingerprint match a female university professor and MC goes to talk with her. We again meet crazy lady that shoots guy at the opening scene and it is the professor. After MC leaves, the woman uses time machine and goes back in time to wipe the fingerprint she left. Butterfly effect, present everything is changed. The woman went back again and killed the serial killer responsible for MC's best friend death - again cut to present and MC and best friends are chatting happily.  I don`t remember how it happens but MC and the professor went again back in time together but this time professor went back to prevent her own past - being assaulted as a child. They stop it from happening and we cut back at present - MC is now aware of all connections - weird cases of seemingly innocent people killed in the past has not happened - instead those 'innocent' people has killed dozen of people on their own. MC best friend is again dead.  MC snaps and goes to find crazy professor - just that when she finds her she is not crazy and is confident young woman. She has created the time machine - that did not change. Final scene - we see again the guy at the park that was killed at the start of the episode - this time instead of crazy, MC appears and shoots him. That one is probably much easier to pinpoint Thanks for helping :)
