Looking for name of old kung fu / comedy movie - very obscure!

The most iconic scene I remember is two giant statues fighting on a beach (from memory they wore samurai armour??). This may have been the end or the final scene. They were slow moving statues. It MAY have been somewhat reminiscent of the ray harryhausen stop motion stuff …

Also the movie as I remember contained some slapstick comedy similar to the three stooges. One character I remember was a bald monk that carried a staff or monk spade, and had big monk beads around his neck.

It was a fairly goofy comedy/kung fu movie. Very obscure. I’ve been searching for it for the last 10 years with no avail.  Can’t remember the story at all.

If I was to guess it was made in either the 70s or 80s. It was around the early 90s when I watched it as a kid. I rented it from the local video store. The cover may have even had those giant statues on it from the beach scene.

On a side note, I finally found another obscure kung fu movie I watched as a kid - ‘Ninja the violent sorcerer’. It didnt even make it to dvd lol. This current movie I’m looking for I feel will be the same. VERY OBSCURE.

Heroes of shaolin?

Not giants but certainly obscure and beach fighting!

Try Kung fu hustle if you haven't watched it, it's probably to your liking!

@Dazzla unfortunately that’s not it. The ending of this one contains two giant statues battling it out on a beach. And when I say statues, they’re reminiscent of the giant talos statue in the movie ‘Jason and the argonauts’.
