Looking for a movie

It is a movie in which the daughter of the protagonist (A woman) gets lost. I think it was that a person from the neighborhood had kidnapped her but the important part is that the protagonist has a wooden music(?) box and opening (?) it changes the current reality and the past. So everytime she opens that box there are little differences from the last time. I remember there being search groups looking for the daughter in the woods, which are very close to the house of protagonist but she is found in the basement of a guy iirc. Please help me find this movie.
