Looking for a movie forgotten title about impossible love before 2000
I can't remember the title or actors, but it was American movie. He was black, older and married and she was probably at the age of his kids and a friend of the family. They both knew it was impossible but there was love.

Definitely not comedy. The main character had a lot of authority in some way, social or professional.
