Looking for a French TV Movie

Hi everyone, I'm trying to identify a French TV movie I watched in the early 2000s (probably 2002 or 2003). It aired on Russian Channel One (Первый канал), most likely sometime after 8 PM. Here’s what I remember: The movie involves two characters playing with a regular die (dice). During the game, one of them nearly drowns in a swimming pool and ends up disabled — either paraplegic or in a vegetative state. At the end of the movie, the injured character is in a wheelchair and starts to laugh — not a joyful laugh, but a disturbing, almost traumatic one. The film had a dark and surreal atmosphere. It left a strong impression on me, and I’ve been trying to find it ever since. If anyone recognizes this movie or can point me in the right direction — I would be extremely grateful.
