I need to know the name of a movie

Rom/com, British. 2000’s. She has long  blonde curly hair.  A woman is having a very bad day. A man helps her and is very nice to her. He tells her that someone  wants her to have a really nice day. I think she gets mud on herself?  He takes her to get her hair done, buys her a new outfit, takes her to lunch. At lunch they eat a chocolate cake. (3 of them) He asks about a scar on her head and she doesn’t want to talk about it. They go to see her friends and he learns that she plays piano and sings. They go to his see his family and his family is rude and dismissive to him. As the day passes, she tells him that a boy that bullied her threw a rock and gave her the scar on her head. At the end he tells her that he was the boy that threw the rock. He wanted to give her a really nice day to make amends.
