A keyword search is your best bet, but it's going to be challenging.  Plot summaries and outlines are written in the contributors' own words.  I can't imagine any shortcuts to searching plot summaries because they would be dependent so much on specific words.

why don't you try to tell the storyline and we can see if we can recognise it?

It's about Chinese girls that were sold into slavery/  prostitution and rescued by a Cowboy(s) with humanity/ morality in his bones. His mission was to get cattle to market and keep them safe while defying Racist Saloon owner that wants them back along the trail. Okay, this movie had an Academy Award Actor, if I knew his name I would find the movie. As we get older names get a bit harder to remember. Except that it was a great Western!Thank You.
