Help me identify a movie

It was featured around 30 years ago. A man is tortured on a cross by a woman holding scissors in her hand andd cutting his stomach. Really gruesome scene. People are dancing around him as if it was a ritual. His friend is far way holding his binoculars and a gun and then shoots him dead to free him from his pain. After the shot, all those cannibal like creature run away in panic. That's what i remember. Many thanks
