Help me find this movie

I’m looking for a movie where a little boy was in either elementary or middle school and was getting bullied at school. I can’t remember if he committed suicide or was hit by a car and died. I remember how the school was affected and how the students at the school handled and took his death. I can’t remember the name of the movie. It is an older movie because I am 35 and my elementary teacher had the class watch it at school.
