Help finding foreign film

I remember this film where a white stray dog/mutt is considered ugly— up until they get scribbled on with some marker or something and looks ‘cute’. Afterwards, they get adopted by some rich owner, I think gets kidnapped, and then  somewhere along the sharpie or something gets rained on, so the whole thing is exposed.

cant remember much after that, but I could never find this film again. Don’t remember the name of it either. It was likely some Asian (Gonna be general with this, didn’t know the language sorry) film.
