Episode(s) where a man falls in love with a counselor

There were maybe 1-3 episodes of a show where a man attends therapy/counseling and starts to fall in love with the counsellor. The meeting place is not a doctor setting, but in a school, or public building. Her are a few things I remember:1. The man had made a large monetary contribution to the group. The doctor thanked him for that 2. They snuck off after a session to make out in a closet 3. He tried to profess his love for her but she shot him down while in the middle of a session The overall feel of the show was upbeat and quirky, so not a drama. I feel like it might have been Lucifer, but not sure why he wouldve seen this person. Likely the show as on netflix as well
