Desperately trying to remember this kids movie name

All the things I can remember

•two dogs a big male dog and a small girl dog

• the kid had a spaceship hideout 

•the kids family almost gets robbed for diamond they had in their safe but the dogs stop the robbers

•I think the big boy dog is a German shepherd and I think he kept calling the girl dog a cat the whole movie 

•the girl dog gets sprayed by a skunk
